Preamble
ALI Association Canada guided by compassion and justice, the activities of the corporation will be limited to Not-for-Profit but not for commercial purposes. We are dedicated to uplifting racialized communities through charitable initiatives that foster equity, well-being, and safety. Our mission is rooted in education, poverty alleviation, and mental health support, empowering individuals to thrive in an inclusive society. With transparency and accountability, we deliver programs, from interfaith dialogue to crisis relief, that bridge divides and nurture hope. Together, we build a Canada where no one is left behind.


Purpose
ALI Association Canada works to benefit racialized communities in a way the law regards as charitable by fostering social equity, diversity, inclusion, safety, well-being, and providing housing & food through services that encourage civic engagement and promote harmonious coexistence and happiness in Canada.
This purpose statement encompasses the organization’s focus on inclusiveness, happiness, dialogue, and services for all human beings while aligning with the CRA’s charitable purpose categories and meeting the legal requirements for charitable registration.

This missionary work is an ultimate need of the present situation at home and abroad. This extraordinary work will lead to a healthy society, promoting Interfaith Harmony, Tolerance, Peace and Love in our global society. This is a step forward to provide a healthy society for Canadian citizens and the worldwide community, and also provide leadership in future, particularly encouraging civic engagement and harmonious coexistence among diverse communities in Canada, “a role model for the world community” (Prof. Dr. Abdul Rashid – Sitara-i-Imtiaz)

Goal
ALI Association Canada’s goals are;
- Provide social services to alleviate poverty and support disadvantaged individuals.
- Enhance mental and emotional well-being through targeted health programs.
- Encourage civic engagement and harmonious coexistence among diverse communities in Canada.
- Establish a strong, legally recognized charitable organization committed to social welfare.
- Promote interfaith understanding and inclusiveness through educational initiatives.

Members’ Voting Power
ALI Association Canada’s meetings of the board, every question shall be decided by a majority of the votes cast on the question. In case of an equality of votes, the chair of the meeting, in addition to an original vote, shall have a second or casting vote.
The worth of a vote will be as follows;
- 5 votes = 1 member holding a PhD degree or above with a minimum of 10 years of experience
- 4 votes = 1 member holding a PhD degree or above
- 3 votes = 1 member holding a 16-year Degree or above with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- 2 votes = 1 member holding a school Degree (12 years) or above with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- 1 vote = 1 member
- Each Director has an extra 1 vote
- Chair of the Board of Directors has an extra 2 votes
